The event will wrap up at Earth Day Celebrations in Centennial park going from noon to 5 pm.
The Board of Directors of the Salt Spring Island Chamber of Commerce has written to Minister Doug Donaldson, Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resources, to encourage a change in the designation of Salt Spring and the Southern Gulf Islands from urban to rural. We have this designation due to the Capital Regional District's urban designation.

Salt Spring Island's 2018 Home & Garden Show last weekend was a resounding success in attracting attendance of 1350 from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. Over 40 businesses including specialized trades, financial services, retail, alternative energy, building supplies and community service and volunteer organizations had the opportunity to "show and tell" islanders and their friends about their products and services, all available locally. This event was supported by the 320 members of the Salt Spring Chamber of Commerce.
