We are happy to announce that the GISS Culinary Program is the recipient of part proceeds from the Chamber of Commerce hosted Sip & Savour Salt Spring. The event, a part of the Harvest Festival, took place October 21st at the Farmers Institute. The donation of $500 was presented in front of a giant Culinary Program logo at the High School on Thursday, December 21st. Proceeds from the silent auction are supporting the GISS Culinary Program – creating the next generation of farmers, chefs, food producers and vintners.
